Ordering AXA Insurance

Here’s how the insurance arrangement process works with AXA Assistance if you are going to order your health insurance in the Czech Republic:

1. You place an order for insurance online through STRAHOVANIE.CZ. We do not charge any additional or hidden fees for ordering insurance online. All applications are processed by official representatives of the insurance company you choose. All payments will be made directly to the insurance company without any mark-ups.

Even before placing the order, you can see the current cost of the insurance package for your chosen period, and you can easily change the parameters and insurance package according to your needs. Additionally, your order can be modified by contacting us before you make the payment.

For clients who place insurance orders through STRAHOVANIE.CZ entirely online, we provide FREE EXTENDED support in English for the entire duration of the insurance period (instructions for using the insurance in English, changes to client information in the future, requests for insurance confirmation for the police when extending temporary residence permits and applying for permanent residence, invitations to a group where you can get recommendations for doctors or clinics in the Czech Republic for free, etc.) exclusively for clients of STRAHOVANIE.CZ.

To get started, simply submit an online application with no obligations. A representative from the insurance company will reach out to you with the insurance quote. Afterward, you can choose to decline, adjust, or confirm and pay for your order.

2. To complete your order, you must fill out a questionnaire for each person (adult or child) you want to insure.

3. For each insured individual, you need to send:

  • The completed questionnaire.

4. You will receive the insurance cost via email in English.

5. You can either decline to arrange insurance or confirm your order simply by making the payment.

6. After agreeing on the documents via email, you will pay for the insurance using the official invoice from the insurance company. Please keep in mind that payment can take 3-5 banking days (often faster), so it's best not to wait until the last minute to order your insurance. Instead, order in advance to ensure that the start date aligns with your needs. Ideally, place your order at least a week before your current insurance expires.

You also have the option to make the payment a few days after the start date—your coverage will still begin from the date of your order!

7. Once the payment is received, you will receive all necessary documents related to the insurance via email. All processing occurs electronically; you do not need to take any further action. If the foreign police in the Czech Republic asks you to provide documentation, all you need to do is print the documents sent to your email.

8. If you later need a fresh confirmation of insurance for extending a temporary residence permit, applying for permanent residence, or citizenship, clients who ordered through STRAHOVANIE.CZ can simply write to us requesting the associated documentation. We will acquire the paperwork from the insurance company on your behalf, verify its accuracy, and send it to you completely FREE OF CHARGE (this service is ONLY for clients of STRAHOVANIE.CZ!).
